Summer reading should be light reading. It has to be non-technical so that you can put it down, quickly, if you need to get up and chase a kid or two or turn the burgers on the grill. And it needs to be easily picked back up, again, without losing the author's train of thought after you're done with the kids or the burgers.While novels qualify as good reading material for this reason, they do nothing to help you build your business. The good news is that there are plenty wholesale salon products of books that both help strengthen your business mindset and are written well enough that they are easy to read.
Here are my top 5 summer reading suggestions:
1. Rich Dad, Poor Dad by Robert Kiyosaki
This really is a starter manual for those employees who are considering going into business for themselves. Kiyosaki does a terrific job of showing the reader how the entrepreneur really does see the world very differently from the employee. He does so by comparing his two Dad's - his real Dad who was the superintendant of schools in Hawaii and, therefore, an employee and his best friend's Dad, an entrepreneur. The two men had totally opposite views on everything from education to money.
RDPD is easy reading and very enlightening.
2. Cash Flow Quadrant by Robert Kiyosaki
This is really my favorite by Kiyosaki but it helps to read RDPD, first, so I made this my second pick. The cash flow quadrant is simply the four different ways people earn income. They are
Employee
Self-Employed
Investor
Business Owner
The thrust of the book is explaining why you want to move into the business owner and investor quadrants as soon as possible wholesale rivets if you have any chance at all of becoming financially independent.
3. rivet guns manufacturer Financial Illusions and the Realities of Money by Sean Walsh
This is another great "business mindset development" book. Like Rich Dad, Poor Dad, Sean discusses the experiences he had growing up that made him realize he would never become financially successful if he followed the traditional route of getting a college education and going to work for someone else.

4. The 4-Hour Work Week by Timothy Ferriss
While this does get a bit technical, there are plenty of laughs in all of Ferriss' personal stories. FHWW is a masterful blend of practical information and fun. In a squidoo lens that I wrote a few months back, I call this the "Think and Grow Rich" for the new mellinium.
5. The World is Flat by Thomas Friedman
While I disagree with most of Friedman's conclusions, he does a terrific job of opening the reader's eyes to the realities of globalization and competition.
While most serious business people have already read the books on this list, rivets the thoughts expressed in them make them wholesale hardware accessories worth reading again. And sipping a beer by the pool is the best way to do so!
